Rarely will you see fans wearing jerseys and t-shirts of a Minor League players, let alone a Single A player, at a MLB baseball game. But in 2009, that's exactly what was happening at the Giants AT&T Park. Yes, there were Lincecum and Sandoval jerseys. But, sprinkled amongst the sea of Timmy and Panda, were Buster Posey San Jose Giants gear. Why? Because even then Giants fans knew Buster was special. Posey was drafted #1 (and signed to the largest upfront bonus in MLB history) by the Giants in the 2008 Major League Baseball Draft out of Florida St., where he not only led the Seminole to the 2007 Championship but won just about every major college baseball award including The Johnny Bench Award, Dick Howser Trophy, Gold Spikes Award, and the Collegiate Player of the Year. And he made the transition to professional baseball look easy, tearing up both A (San Jose) and AAA (Fresno) before getting the call-up to the Big Club for good on May 29, 2010. Not only did Buster bat .305 and hit 18 HRs (in half a season) in winning the 2010 NL Rookie of the Year but he helped lead the Giants to their first World Series Championship in 56 years. Masterfully catching a pitching staff that simply dominated the post-season competition, Posey also hit .300 in the World Series with a big Game 4 Homerun. Oh and 2012? Led the NL in batting, started for the NL All-Star Team, and won his 2nd World Series in his 2nd full season (injured in 2011). Now a 2x World Series Champion and the 2012 National League MVP, Buster is as fundamentally sound a baseball player as you'll ever see. This very cool Rawlings black bat was hand-signed by Buster at a recent private signing in bold silver Sharpie. A classic collectible from a classic baseball player! In full: "Kit Clarke passed away yesterday July fourth and was cremated the same day. It was his wish. I had a three [sic] chat with him Sunday, and he knew the end was near. He was perfectly satisfied to go, and simply wanted it to be 'soon'. He was gifted with a wonderful brain and never forgot anything he read. We often spoke about you and your visit to us. Am cery [sic] busy, best wishes and regards, sincerely yours as always, Semper Idem". Typed postscript: "Regards to your good wife. Remember me to Mr Melville". Folds, vertical fold between the "di" in Houdini. Fine condition. With original postmarked embossed stamped envelope addressed by typewriter to Rice, postmarked New York, N.Y., July 5, 1918. A friend of Houdini, he did research for the magician and carried on a long correspondence with him. HOUDINI (1874-1926) was a magician famous for his amazing escapes, freeing himself from jail cells, padlocked underwater chests and buried caskets. At the time of this letter, he was President of the Society of American Magicians (1917-1926). KIT CLARKE, one of Houdini's secretaries and a personal friend, wrote and edited articles for "M.U.M" (Magic-Unity-Might), the Society's newsletter. Please be advised that over 95% of all Original Movie Posters printed before the mid 1980's were issued FOLDED. This is NOT considered a defect. They were shipped to theaters this way. Vintage rolled posters do exist, however they are extremely rare. We can have any folded poster Linen Backed which will make the fold lines virtually disappear.

Also please note that most movie posters were used at the theater and some will contain slight imperfections such as: writing, pin holes, fold wear, small tears, etc. These are all very common and to be expected, but if they bother you, all these minor flaws can be remedied in the linen backing process. Linen Backing preserves and can actually increase the value of a poster. For the most part, any flaws will be fixed and the poster will appear to be Near Mint.

We do not always measure all of our posters exactly. Unless otherwise specified, poster measurements quoted are approximate to the nearest inch. For example, if we say a one sheet poster is 27" x 41" its precise measurements may be closer to 26 3/4" x 40 7/8" (or something similar). This slight variance is quite common for all original movie posters.
